Welcome- Please continue learning about this memorial by reading the item description. Let us help walk you through the process of considering if this can work for your needs. We are here to offer the best memorials at affordable prices. If you and your family are capable of taking on some of the onsite responsibilities, our memorials can save you not only a lot of money but reward your efforts in personalizing and enduring statement for your loved one. Why online? A funeral today is an expense that can be overwhelming during an emotional crisis. The monument is the final step in this process. Often many families arrive at this step in financial distress. We are here to offer a solution. Let us walk you through what you would need to do to consider if this might be an option for your needs. First these are the dimensions for this monument. The color, style and finish are included. In monuments all of these are important and affect the cost of the item. In addition, you will need these when consulting your cemetery for requirements. 36 x 12 x 4” – Gray – Flat marker often referred to as flush or grass marker- Polished top – natural rock edges First step- contact your cemetery for all restrictions concerning your plot. This can include but not limited to material, style, size, color, design and more including foundation and design approval. Some cemeteries have a form they want filled out that shows the monument specifics, so it is assured to meet restrictions. The graphic we send in the design process will have all information needed to fill this out and our customers handle this step. Many cemeteries will construct a foundation. Address this in your contact. Make sure you get the name of the person you consult with and a delivery contact with a direct phone number for the freight Carrier. Do not purchase a monument before you contact the cemetery. These are the steps that save you 2-3 times and even more what our cost is you will pay on this listing. A local retailer will do all these and if you need that service we are not an option. Placement/installation is often referred to as setting. You are responsible for setting and any foundation requirements. Many of our customers set smaller stones (great YouTube videos on setting). This can be contracted. A funeral home that sells stones is a great resource to find a setter. Some cemeteries, many burial vault companies are now offering this service. Even monument dealers will set-although just as pricy on this as their stones. With this completed you can feel confident purchasing a stone. Order process- Each monument has specific engravings – design offerings. Engraving is offered with character count limits. Any additional engraving or added features as pictures or flower vases will be listed below with pricing. Enter in checkout screen there is a box titled “contact seller” enter design choice- the name(s) dates and endearment to character counts below. Line 1- Last name up to 11 charactersLeft panel- Name up to 11 characters Dates- Format JUN 12, 1955 Death date if applicable*.Right panel- Name up to 11 characters Dates- Format JUN 12, 1955 Death date if applicable*. Endearment- Up to 36 characters.* Every market has a vendor that will cut death dates on site. A local funeral home can help identify this vendor. Our designer will collect and create a graphic for your review and approval. This is sent here in eBay. We only communicate in eBay. There are no phone calls. All communication is in writing for your review at any time. We do not create art prior to purchase. If a cemetery requires design approval simply hold your approval until they do. Rejection by cemetery for any reason other than restrictions that should have been addressed in prior contact will be refunded 100%. Refunds for restrictions buyer did not ascertain prior to order will have design time subtracted. We do not engrave until you approve. Engraving- We flash panels on gray stones in double process sandblast carving. This creates the best contrast for visibility on a gray stone. The double process carving creates crisp cut text. An extra step to ensure every monument represents our work and the honor given us by the customer to memorialize a life. Standing for eternity we take this honor very seriously. Markers are carved to depth approx. 3/8” and filled with best in class stone paint. Our engraving process from approved design is normally 3-4 weeks to ship. If you need this sooner, you can contact us for quote. You will pay overtime rate for our people to process your stone after normal working hours. We will never place your order in front of an order placed earlier and process during regular working hours. Expect this to add significant costs to your monument. Shipping is Common Carrier Freight (not our trucks). We negotiate rates for our best solution delivered to a business with a dock or picked up at a freight terminal. These locations are free shipping. Delivered to a cemetery the carrier adds 200.00. This has delivery into limited access (cemetery) and a liftgate on the truck to set the skid on the ground. Residential or Church delivery adds 250.00 to the cost by the carrier. This again limited access fee adds the liftgate. The skid will be set at end of driveway. Incudes a phone contact to ensure you are at home when delivery is expected. Business and Cemetery must have fulltime employees no exceptions. Graveyards attached to churches Must have a separate address than church. If the address is for a church the fee must be for church. These are all rules from carriers. All deliveries are Mon-Fri normal business hours. Any location that needs a delivery appointed time please contact us for added costs. Delivery- All locations will need the employee’s name and contact number for the carrier. This is the person that will inspect and sign for the stone. Your name only if delivery is residential or picking up at terminal. All locations MUST inspect for damage prior to signing to accept delivery. You Must refuse delivery if damaged. Damage- while less than 1% does happen. Please get a picture of damage if possible. We will file the claim and replace the stones as fast as we can process. Understand if you sign for delivery without inspecting then find damage that could have easily be identified while inspecting a claim will be in jeopardy. In this case we will file claim. We, the buyer and Carved Impressions will have to hold until claim is processed to replace. Reason is the ticket signed states excepted free and clear no damage. That process generally is 6 months. The inspection is critical as is obvious. We will continue remind you several times during this process.

So this can happen- tracking is provided and if your stone has not arrived in 3-4 days check tracking and let us know. If they have lost your package we will replace and file the claim. If for any reason other than damage you just do not like your stone we will always refund 100% of your cost just ship the stone back. We strive to make sure everyone is happy with their purchase.
